| Q: Why are your prices so much less than
comparable professional handmade flutes? |
| A: Being a one-man shop is the key. My
shop is attached to the side of my garage. I have no employees
to pay and the cost of living in the Midwest is much lower than
the East Coast. Low overhead and depressed precious metals prices
all contribute to my ability to produce quality flutes at affordable
prices. |
| Q: How can I be assured that the flute
you make for me will play as well as your demo flute? |
| A: Every flutist that has ordered a flute
after trying my demo flute has said that their new flute plays
better than the demo. Headjoint selection plays a huge role in
how the new flute plays. I will work with a customer until he/she
has a headjoint that suits them perfectly. |
